Religious Education Important Dates 2010
Please mark these dates on your calendar.

Primary to Level 5 programs - NO CLASSES MARCH 14-2010
Sunday– 7:00 to 8:00pm
Confirmation class meets on Sunday evening in the Church Hall. Catechist will advise of the March break schedule

Level 6 meet Sunday evening in the Church sacristy. Catechist will advise of the March break schedule.

Other Religious Education Notes...
Parent Meetings
First Reconciliation for children from Level 3 will be celebrated on Saturday, March 27th at 10:00am in the Church. A meeting of participating parents and children receiving the sacrament will take place Thursday, March 25th in the Church Hall beginning at 6:30. All parents and children are asked to be present.
A Seder Supper will take place on Tuesday, March 23rd beginning at 6:00pm in the Church Hall for Confirmandi and their parents.
Bursary Opportunities
Knights of Columbus Scholarship
Scholarships are open to those graduating from High School this year, as well as, students enrolled in their first year of post secondary education. Deadline for applications is March 12, 2010. Forms are available at the back of the Church
CWL Scholarship
The Halifax Diocesan Council of the Catholic Women's League of Canada is offering their annual Alice Egan Hagan Bursary. This $500 bursary is open to CWL members upgrading their education. Deadline for applications is March 31, 2010. Click here to download a copy of the criteria and the application form.
Youth Music Group News
The M & M's, will lead the music at the Family Mass Sunday, Palm Sunday March 28th! Don't miss it.
Religious articles are available for sale in the hall entrance leading from the Sacristy. Rosaries, crucifixes, baptism gifts and cards and other items are available at reasonable prices. Ask Father Driscoll or Deacon Howard to open the cabinet for viewing after mass.
CAMPAIGN
While we have officially closed the active canvassing of the Campaign, we continue to receive and welcome contributions and look forward to our upcoming fund-raising projects.
